Interactive Poetry Project - Exemplar

As part of the Integrated Poetry Project you will find five poems as well as create your own five poems.  You will copy them or type them out, analyze them and post the poem and analysis in a blog post on your blogger page.

Below is an example.

Structure:

This poem is comprised of two verses.  Each verse is five lines.
It has a rhyme scheme of AABBC DDEEF.

Poetic Devices:

The title of the poem is an example of alliteration as it has the P sound repeating.

Theme:

There is no real theme to this poem as it is meant to be a silly child's poem.  However, it is about a fish named Pedro who is scared that one day he will be eaten by another fish.
